Strawberry Shortcake Eating Contest
Purchase your tickets to the Florida Strawberry Festival for Thursday, March 6 to witness one of the Festival’s longest-running traditions — the St. Clements Catholic Church’s Strawberry Shortcake Eating Contest. Ten lucky contestants will be selected to delve into a 4¬-pound mountain of Americana, constructed center stage by Plant City’s own Chef Tony DeFranceso. Last year’s winner was Canadian John Rozon. Will a Plant City resident claim first prize this year? The exciting event will take place yet again in the Stingray Chevrolet Entertainment Tent on March 6, at 2 p.m. Don’t miss out!
